1. You are against your child’s being educated in another town for you fear he will be confronted with many difficulties and won’t be able to tackle them on his own but your child is eager to break away from your tyrannical parental influence. Discuss it.

2. You’ve fallen behind with many subjects as you’ve always been too concerned about your social life at college Seek help from your group mate or academic advisor. Discuss the reasons why you’re lagging behind.

3. You were born in a multilingual family so it’s not a big deal for you to master a language as you already know the tricks. Recommend your friend who’s tackling French how to work more effectively.

4. Try to encourage your friend to go to college away from home. Share the benefits of living under a different roof than your parents, dwell on the pleasures of a student life.

5. Your friend is desperate to get higher education but can’t arrange any financial support from home. Say if it is possible to handle the problem on his own.

VIII. Tell about your University, what you like and dislike about it. Use recommended vocabulary:
