Last coat I figured out to use a microfiber sponge and a small nylon paintbrush. That gave the best finish by far. My counter had a weird edge so I built the flat front out with plywood and covered the sink dips with this adhesive mesh. So I had a lot to cover, hence the 6 or so coats.
