Dear
Maple User! You have downloaded and unpacked a Demo version of our Library of software for the mathematical package Maple of releases 6 - 10. For the use of the Demo version you will need the installed package of one of the specified releases. The Demo version contains Help database of all tools composing our Library. This database is organizationally similar to the standard Help database of Maple and allows you to receive the help information about all tools of the Library in the following six aspects:
- General characteristic of the
Library
tools
- Formats of the tools calls
- Formal parameters at a tool call
- Description of the tools and their features
- Typical examples of the tools use
- References to similar tools of the package
In the simplest case, the Demo installation can be made within three stages, namely:
1.
Copy the subdirectory USERLIB into subdirectory with the main Maple library (by default, “C:/Program Files/Maple {6|7|8|9|9.5|10}/LIB”).2.
Copy the installation file “Maple.ini” into subdirectory USERS of the root Maple directory (by default, “C:/Program Files/Maple {6|7|8|9|9.5|10}/USERS”). In addition, if file “Maple.ini” already does exist, then it must be updated by means of adding in its end of contents of a new file “Maple.ini”.3.
(If necessary) correct contents of the copied file “Maple.ini” in appropriate way, i.e. with taking into consideration of the current Maple release and real path to the copied Demo version. After restart or reload of
Maple the copied Demo version will be logically linked with the main Maple library. The main page for the Demo Help database has name UserLib!!!. In help browser you can achieve this main page of the Library help database by the chain "New Means... -> Aladjev's Library".Many thanks for the use of the Demo version. Good luck in familiarization with the
Library!We welcome your
feedback. Direct inquires, suggestions, or comments should be sent to the
