The day before yesterday I met John at school at the lecture. He was standing behind me during the lesson for an hour, and I was sitting at the table. He came back from Moscow by train and stayed at his friends’, not by chance, but by mistake. I asked him for money. He looked at me; he was about to cry and left. And I borrowed 500 rubles from my brother, bought myself some food for 300 rubles, for the first and for the last time. For many years I was waiting for him, I was looking for him and was late for work. My boss was shouting at me, but I was preparing for the meeting. Everybody, except me, was laughing at him for many reasons and he worked at a factory and drank at parties and, besides that, at home, at work, on purpose, from morning till night, at the end of the day, after 12. We were looking after him for about a year. And what happened after? At first he told about his trip, then he sang about love. There were about 100 people at the concert. Have you heard him before? What are you thinking about?
